The Reactions

Well, we told my parents about their new grandchild on Sunday and my mom screamed so loud she scared our nephew! I figured they were kind of suspecting a pregnancy, but needless to say my mom was surprised! I don't think Jacob quite realizes how important his job will be as the big cousin!
We told Ryan's parents on Christmas morning and Dave hugged me so hard I think Flurry might have gotten squished! Rachel asked if it was okay that she was crying, and Deanna got to make the first phone call to her best friend to let her know she was going to be a grandma! Everyone is excited and looking forward to sharing the good news!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were coming home from a morning of the 'Day-after-Christmas-Shopping' when we stopped at the mailbox to get the mail. We found a card from you and did not think too much about it until when Anne opened it and yelled, "Ryan & Jamie are having a baby!!" We couldn't get up the drive and into the garage fast enough so that we could spread the news.

We are SO excited for you and know that you will be wonderful parents--the best!!
Love,
Jean & Anne
P.S. Love the blog site:)

Congratulations Uncle Ryan and Aunt Jamie!!! You gave me the best Christmas present of all. Who needs all of these toys? I guess mom and dad do to help keep me occupied so they can get something done around the house. Ha! Ha!! Mommy, Daddy and I can't wait to meet Flurry. I am sure I will be a big help when he/she arrives and will have lots of advice for you on what babies like and don't like. Ha! Ha!! I just hope that this means I can come over and play more often. Hope you continue to feel well.

I love you both and Flurry too!!!

Thursday, Chad got the mail at lunch and called me on his way back to work to tell me that someone sent a baby announcement but he forgot the name… it killed me to wait but I held out till the end of the day. When I seen the return address I started crying… one of the many emotions you will experience during the next 9 months!! I had a feeling after you, Sara, Kate, and I had dinner a few months back that it wouldn’t be long before we received this exciting news.
I look forward to reading your blog… I’ve already added you to my favorites!
Can’t wait to compare stories!
Congratulations Ryan and Jamie… “Flurry” will be well blessed!

Love,
Amanda
